The Velvelettes released “He Was Really Sayin’ Somethin’,” with the g’s dropped, on Motown’s V.I.P. label in 1964. But unlike Bananarama, they never recorded a full-length album. Yes, that’s Fun Boy Three with the girls in the video. Luckily for us, Bananarama’s budget climbed significantly for their subsequent video efforts.

About:

>>>

We love the music of the 80's. The good, the bad, and the downright ugly. It's all here.

Any band or artist that recorded during the 1980's is welcomed here. But we reserve the right to include pioneers from the 70's and the hearty few that made it into the early 90's as well. So please, no quibbling about release dates.

So stay awhile and flip through our collection.
