Private Eyes

From the album Private Eyes
Daryl Hall & John Oates
, RCA Records/USA (1981)

Jingle Bell Rock
Hall & Oates
RCA Records/USA (1983)

We love when Daryl Hall breaks up at the very beginning of this video. The band that sounds like a law firm does Bobby Helms proud. A run-in with drunken revelers is narrowly averted so we can get back to the wholesome business at (G.E. Smith’s gloved) hand. As was the norm in the ’80s, Daryl impresses with his casual chic and ultra-soignée coiffure. As for Oates… uh… Sexy cardie, John.

About:

>>>

We love the music of the 80's. The good, the bad, and the downright ugly. It's all here.

Any band or artist that recorded during the 1980's is welcomed here. But we reserve the right to include pioneers from the 70's and the hearty few that made it into the early 90's as well. So please, no quibbling about release dates.

So stay awhile and flip through our collection.
